However, the radio has both a perminant live and an ignition live, and will work without the perminant live. However, the car thinks the ignition is off, so kills the power after 20 minutes to save you killing the battery!
The same fuse can be killed by overpowering the cigarette lighter, and also by using the washer jets when the resevoir is empty!
