dont do that on the EGR, it has a feedback line that will not variate its resistance while the egr piston moves, that will produce for sure an error and the MIL will lit. dont mess with it, like dave told, this is 2012...

cheers

That is the only image I have from my collection that may be of use.

No doubt there will be a page in the pdf manuals at the top of this thread with a comprehensive diagram.

After running car for a week car runs fine, smoke all cleared up but car does not seem as nippy.
You car here turbo kicking in so it's works fine.

One good thing is the mpg has risen to around 45mpg.

Not as nippy, but running well? Sounds like a result - better to have a reliable engine than a super fast breakdown... :)

Hi hope someone can help, I had total loss of power and a constant hissing noise underneath, had a mechanic who said rubber hose was split, he cut the pipe and reattached it now the car only starts for a few secs and goes off.

Could this be the dpf blocked or maybe Turbo or other??

Before while the pipe was split the car was starting BBB moving real slow with loud hiss.

Appreciate any advise as its now stuck on the roadside
