Hi, after starting A/C, after 15 minutes there is a water leak on the floor of the passenger side. At the same time, water dosn't come out under the car as it should.
Anyone with the same problem? I suppose that there was a bowel blockage which drains out condensed water. Leakage is abundant and in no time flor is fully saturated with water. Is it possible to fix this problem without a visit to an authorized service?
Cheers!

Re: A/C problem> water leaking into car
Hi, I had the same problem not so long ago, the under floor compartments where even filled with water. There is maybe an easier way to do it, but here is how I did it as I do not trust any mechanics on Renaults here in South Africa and prefer to do it myself. There is a rubber plug/valve on the gearbox tunnel that is blocked. I got under the car, loosened the heat shield between the exhaust and the body. Then got my hand on top of the shield to the valve(not much room). Then used a piece of wire and moved it around, out came muddy water with leaves and all sorts of muck. I also removed the cabin air filter, as it was soaking wet. It is located by the centre of the dash on top of the tunnel, where the pedals are. Sorry I don't have any pics.
