A couple of minor (i hope) problems. The clip that the fuel filler flap clicks into to hold it closed has broken. This is the 2 little arms im talking about but it is part of the filler cap, how easy is this part to replace? Anyone ever done it and knows the cost from renault please? Its a cabby by the way on an 54 plate.
The other one, the fan stopped working totally in the week. I checked the fuse which was ok but as i was on lates and the wife was using the car i havent looked into it. She now tells me its started working again, where should i be looking for a problem please?
cheers
Mick

Hy there,
The fan is not always working. Why do you say that its failing?

I mean the heater fan, the internal one not the rad or AC fan.

I would try all the settings, believe some people have had issues with heater resistor, I know the scenic had issues with them.

Eventually it will fail again if you dont find the reason of that failure...
You need that Clip to attach to the fuel filter right? I dont know if Renault sells that separately or only sells the clip with the all line attached...
Cheers

Um, i know, thats why i asked for some ideas!!
The clip, little 2 armed thing that the flap clicks into is the broken bit, appears to be part of the main filler so probably not available seperately, unless anyone knows any different??
