Airbag & service light

Postby _ASH_ » Mon Aug 02, 2010 10:52 pm

Hi Guy's..

Sorry if this seems to have been asked before but I'm new to the megane...

My car service light and airbag light is on and I want to clear them...

Can anyone please advise me on some steps to do this???

I have also got 2 multi plugs sticking out from the side of the handbrake surround (tucked down by the drivers seat.. (anyone got any ideas what these are)??

Other than that, I love the megane....

Thanks in advance...

ASH

Ha Haaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!

I think I've just found the problem...

I think it's the rotary switch as when I turn the steering wheel, it clicks quite a lot...

Anyone confirm if this sounds right???????????????

Thanks

ASH

i'm guessing you have a 3-door... try reconnecting the plugs under the drivers seat... engine off obviously. it controls the airbags.
plugs could be the wiring loom for heated seats.
