wet rear carpets

Postby padiolet » Fri Jul 16, 2010 9:34 am

I've read quite a bit about the Megane CCs waterproof frailities. Following a deluge last saturday night, I discovered the back carpets of my 05 cabriolet were sodden. :sad The seats, and front appeared to be fine. I've read these models tend to let in water via the doors. I've noticed a small section of the sill marked Karman which appears to be a separate plate and which runs behind the doors. Could this section allow water to enter the sill and dampen the back floor of the car?

if not on flat ground park it the other way round, can resolve the issue :)
