Slight jerk when pressing on throttle or releasing

Hi, I have a problem with my 2007 Megane 1.6 Petrol. When I press on the throttle when the car is in gear and moving, there is a slight delay and then a jerk to the car. When I release the throttle, the same happens except the jerk is a bit less and there are two seperate jerks instead of only one. It jerks more when the car is going slower such as at around 2000rpm in 2nd gear. The jerk isn't excessive but it is enough to be extremely annoying. Any advice?

Does this coincide with you changing gear? The meganes very sensetive to its clutch and slippage etc.

It happens when I'm in gear (and pressing and releasing the throttle) and also sometimes when i change gears I can also feel it jerk.

If it also happens when it's in gear, could this be the clutch?

Sounds to me like ur engine mount is gone. Most likely to be the top one
Mines doing it at the mo. Needs fixing but not sure on cost. Would be a DIY job

Yeah I also thought it was the engine mounting. I replaced the top engine mounting with a bigger 'tighter' one that I got from renault but it's still doing the same thing. What I do find strange is that when I push or pull on the engine it still moves around a bit in the engine bay. Is this normal for Renaults? If I compare it to a Hyundai Getz and Opel/Vauxhall Corsa, the Megane's engine still seems very loose.
