Starting the Megane (basic help)

On my Megane display it says

Press Clutch + Start OR Press Brake + Start

When I Press Clutch and start nothing happens apart from the cd player and clock powering up

When I Press the Brake and Start the car starts Fine.

So is there something wrong with the Clutch start or is do diffenerent megane have different starts sequences hence the OR

Should be a switch on the clutch pedal, possiby a wire snsapped.

Yeah very common problem, have a look above the clutch pedal there will be a snapped wire. Just needs the ends stripping and re-connecting.

ok I have found the lead that has come off

I have took the plug off the accelerator pedal

on the plug there is a number 1 and 2 (very small

on the wires there is a black one and a black one with a white strip

Which wire do I connect to which side of the plug
