REWIND!!!!
IT WORKED!!!!
took a week like but the WD40 obviously did its job of removing moisture and now my button is working fine!

I'm trying the WD40 trick.
When it was last in for a service, I raised the issue of my driver's side buttons not working (the sensors do for unlocking). I was told the buttons were sticking (not that I'd noticed...) The car came home with the buttons working.
So, now they're not working again, I've tried with the WD40.

WD40 + 1/2 Hour wait = Button working again!!
