Hands free: button not working on door to lock car

Hi all,
Our Megane's hands free isn't working properly. When you push the button on the drivers door nothing happens
any ideas how to fix this? Other button is working as is the one on the boot. Unlocks fine.

My Mégane did this in the winter when it got really cold, but it cured itself when it got above around -3 degrees.
You could remove the handle and check the connection?

WD40, sprayed into the button with the straw, the gently lever out the button with a scalpal blade and re-WD40...!!!
I now just lock ours with the boot switch...

mine did the same.i got a new button kit from renault,only cost about £15 but you have to remove handle to replace.
