my funking tw@ of a count headlight bulb has gone for the third funking time in 18 months. I've just regrown the skin on my hands from the last time :banghead

try the osram longlife bulb designed for those cars that are difficult to change bulbs :)
they cost a bit more but have a 3yr guarantee

I feel your pain Ant. If it's of any help, when I removed the wheel arch front cover, I discovered that the round black cap on mine wasn't seated properly and had nearly fallen off - this could cause ingress of shite into the lamp enclosure, and the bulbs can be damaged by being touched (apparently grease from hands lowers bulb life). Renault kindly provide writing on it showing which way up it should be fitted(!).

That said, I've been through about 248 indicator bulbs in 5 years. I have the cuts to prove it too. barsteward design.

In theory, brighter bulbs live shorter if switched on/off frequently (automatic mode). I use +50% Tesla (£4 a pair), they survive the whole year. Then I just replace them all removing the bumper. Renault original blinkers are Osram, they are sold by Shell.
