Megane 2004 1.6 VVT
Driver/side window stuck 3/4 way down today, both rear windows also not working, only front passenger side. Got car home and tried all poss remedies posted on here to get windows back up i.e. resetting , battery lead off and deadlock, both 25a fuses out - no success!
Didnt fancy stripping door card off as it was raining, so called AA out to have a look as my car is parked in street overnight.
After trying all the quick fixes he found that the connections in the drivers door loom were in a mess and had partly oxidised suggesting that this could be the problem with 3 out of 4 windows not working, tried cleaning it but to no avail.
Am getting a auto electrician to have a look on Monday, he will strip door down to check for water ingress and any other problems as only had window regulator on same door a few months ago.
Any ideas on cost of replacing door loom if this is the problem?
Thanks Ant
