I have a 2004 Renault 1.6 dynamique. When driving the temperature needle drops and rises randomly.. with this comes juddering with poor acceleration and the car stalls. It then wont start sometimes for upto 10 minutes.. The car can drive without any problems for ages then this will randomly happen..
Has anyone know the cause of this or have had it resolved??

Sounds like the temperaturesensor is giving wrong values to the computer. Might need replacing.

Have you changed the coolant recently? I had a problem once on a Fiat Bravo, there was an air pocket in the system.

coolant and everything is fine.. I have heard elsewhere it could be the temp sensor.. Will get this done first..
