Hello ,
I have a megane 1.6 dynamic 2008 model. Recently i noticed that the brakes were making noise specially when applied at low speed and corners. I went to the service center and they told that the brake pad and disc have to be replaced. They did this and after a few days i noticed that the sound is still there. I asked them about the problem and i was told that it is a common problem in megane and it cannot be rectified. I am quite surprised as earlier i had driven the car for around 55000 Km and i did not get such a sound.
is it true that there is such a problem with megane.
Thanks to replies in advance.

It can and it must be rectified by the garage that has performed the service. They haven't cleaned the discs and calipers properly.

This is a well known issue if they are squealing. Some copper paste behind the pads may be a solution.

Your car should be in warranty. It should be fixed by the dealer.
