hi the guys and gals my megane started making a funny noise so i took it down to my local garage the other day and they said it was the turbo and i should take it to a renault dealership to get it fixed cause they would need to get some special tools in and i cant belive what they said at renault they want me to pay 2840 pounds surly this cant be right my friends have had new turbos and they said around 1000 any help please

reno will happily charge you 1500 for a turbo and another 1000 to fit it. I got the turbo on mine done from 700 at a local garage. I be highly suprised if a decent garage cant massively undercut the dealers.
