rear wheel bearing ?

hi,i think one of my rear wheel bearings as failed as there is a loud whirring noise,my question is is it dangerous for me to keep using the car as i keep thinking the wheels going to drop off,i am seriously thinking of trading it in in a few weeks so dont want to spend if i can help it.

Can be dangerous. Get it changed.

If your trading, don't bother fixing it as your not gonna regain it on your cost's....

If you are keeping it...consider replacing the rear disks also £150 for 2 x rear and get both done. When one goes the other is sometimes never far behind. Just my 2p

Deni, just paid < £ 100 for rear wheel bearing. Surprised as I've just had new rear discs (10 k miles ago) and they have new bearing as part of the fitting.

Easy job for garage - spent a month driving round before it was sorted (1 k miles) but if you are keeping get it sorted asap
