This happens with mine.
Very annoying!

this was happening on my 04 dynamique when i bought it aswell.

my cheap fix was to take a saw to the bit that returns vertically into the boot to weaken the piece.

did this in two places and now it only pops off on one side.

not ideal but better than it falling into the boot the whole time. it seems to catch on the back of the seats on mine also.

my new idea is to put a bit of card between the back of the seats and latch to stop the seat sitting as far back.

however as i use the back seats i really don't want them flying down under braking.

other alternative is to weight the parcel shelf. did this for mine for a while and worked a treat. just got sick of driving with stuff on the parcel shelf though.

maybe speakers as a weight?

Not a clue as to if this will help or not guys but here goes - when I picked up my current Meg the parcel shelf was playing up as per the above. I still had my 05 1.4 Dynamique for a couple of days so I swapped the shelves over. Perfection! Two years later - no problems at all! Is it possible that there are differing sizes on the parcel shelves?? I would think not but if you know someone with another Meg - try a swap and see what happens.

Possibly useless information - but worth a try!
