Door lock noise

My 1.9 Dci has a horrible noise when opperating the central locking system ,it sounds like running your fingernail down the teeth of a comb.Anyone know what could be wrong?

That kind of sound is usually due to a cogs not meshing properly. Don't quote me on that though.
Silver 08 plate 5dr 1.5dci Dynamique 106 Tech Run (re-mapped)

Red 03 plate 5dr 1.9 Dynamique dci120

Best advice for Megane owners: sell it before it bankrupts you!

Anyone have any more information on this. Mate of mine's megane does this too and its annoying as hell
