a common fault is a failing top suspension mount that causes a "twang" at low carpark turning speeds.
with the car started and stationary does the sound appear when you turn the steering end to end ?

check fuses in the glove box area first, but window failures are usually failed motors / regulators due to water getting inside the door...if it is both on one side might have been the slope of where previous owner previously parked let the water in on one side ?

Yes! Get quotes and make sure you order the right parts.
Silver 08 plate 5dr 1.5dci Dynamique 106 Tech Run (re-mapped)

Red 03 plate 5dr 1.9 Dynamique dci120

Best advice for Megane owners: sell it before it bankrupts you!

Mine does this. Is it an easy/expensive fix..I've not got round to getting it looked out because i've had that much trouble i don't think i could cope with another huge outlay on this car of mine.
