ok my megane wont start.
i bump strted it and it was fine?
i changed the battery and starter motor still no difference does any1 have any ideas y my car wont start?

Check fuses/relays?
Is the engine turning over when you press the start button?

its not doing nufin mate no noise or nufin?

Id say check starter motor, or starter relay.

sumfin told me 2 check the fuse.!
guess what!
the fuse had gone!

Lucky you didn't funk the timing belt!

also try in future the switch (Grey and green) which is on top of the clutch and brake pedal. My car somehow had them two wires cut so the cars ignition would turn on but the engine wouldn't fire on.

The words 'school boy error' come to mind!

My '05 Megane had the same symptoms after the first month or so, which turned out to be an earthing problem. It could jump start but the ignition wouldn't allow you to just start it as normal. Dunno if that's a common fault?

Its something between the switch above the clutch and brake pedal and the igintion button, i've cut the switch out and connected the wires together but once I hit 70mph service light comes on and I have to re-earth the wires. AA told me they just need to be soldered togehter. So check your wires don't have any cuts in them and get the switch checked out too.
