Aircon Sensor

Postby whenisayjump » Wed Aug 12, 2009 9:55 pm

Does anyone, perchance, have a picture of the air conditioning sensor that fails on Meganes in situ? Or can anyone give me a verbose description of where it is?

Can it only be purchased from Renault... I have read it can be attacked with WD40.

...is it detailed in the Haynes ?

Thanks a lot
James

It does show a pic in the haynes manual, its loacted to the left of the radiator when you look at the front of the car, it has a metal casing and, 3 wires going into it in a black multi plug, wd40 works for a brief time.
Yes its only a renault part about £93.00, I did try aircon manufacturers and repaires but nothing listed .
