N/S rear indicator

The near side rear indicator flashes twice then stops flashing when indicating left,I changed bulb but still the same.When the hazards are switched on it will not flash at all.Could it just be a bad conection at the bulb holder or maybe the flasher relay (where is the relay btw).Any other ideas.?Thanks in advance.

Stormy - I know Renault have reported some duff indicator bulb holders - suppose thats in keeping with the rest of the car!
