replacement key quote?

hi, i need a new key fob. mine works but is held together with tape! has anybody successfully transplanted the 'inners' of a key to a new one? if not then how much is a new one going to cost me?

There sealed with glue so will be pretty hard to open a new one with out snapping it.
The cost is £80 + vat. £40 for the key and £40 for the programing. They all come from France and take about 10 days from point of order.
Dont buy one from ebay as Reno wont program it to your car.

yep had mine done 3 weeks ago...
the 10 days was actually 5 in the ned total was £144 you can only do them at renualt now...
think if you got 2 the second was about £50
dont think there is a way around it

I had it down at Reno Newtownard only was 80 + vat (for one key)

£80 is the usual price of a blank key...but it is usually another £80 to programme it to the car.

HAPPY DAYS, £80 SHEETS I CAN LIVE WITH, I THOUGHT IT WAS GONNA BE AROUND 300!. MINE IS CURRENTLY HELF TOGETHER WITH TAPE, SO IM GONNA RING ARDS WHEN I GAT BACK FROM HOLIDAYS, SEE IF I CAN GET IT FOR 80 QUID. THANKS GUYS ILL KEEP YOU POSTED
