Postby frederick » Fri Jun 12, 2009 7:52 am

Hi all... after looking thru the questions I am puzzled.. what is the difference between the Megane 1.. the Megane 11 and the Dynamique (08reg).Also what is the manufacturers warrenty on the Dynamique.
I am new to the Renault breed so any tips or warnings will be very welcome.
Take care all..... Frederick :D :D :D

The megane 11 is the car you see in the picture at the top of this forum, and it's what your 08 will be... and the Dynamique is a trim level. It's the one I have, and comes with rain sensing wipers and such. It's a nice car.

I wish mine was an 08! I have an 06, and it's just out of warrenty. Lol

Good luck with it.

The Megane I was a conventional medium-sized FWD hatchback (5-door, 3-door 'coupe' or fabric -roofed convertible) available until 2002/2003.

The Megane II was the much braver design you see above with a radical 'bustle-back' design. It was also available in 3 or 5-door forms as well as a Sedan (4-doors with a conventional boot) and a 'Coupe Convertible' (CC) with a partially glazed retractable hard-top. There is also a "Sports Tourer" version; essentially an estate with a compromised load space. Production ended in 2008.

The Megane III is the latest iteration introduced for this model year. The 3 and 5-door are out with a convertible to come.

Expression, Dynamique, Privilege, etc. are equipment levels. There are also performance variants.

Each Megane also has an associated MPV called Scenic (or the slightly larger Grand Scenic) with up to 7 seats.
