Handbrake Light

Hello all!

I have a slight problem, when I pull up my handbrake, the light on the dash occasionally doesn't come on... or maybe it comes on after a moment or two.

It seems like the switch is dirty or faulty or something... or does it sound like anything more sinister ?

Also, someone said about greasing up the sunroof rails to cure a rattle... what grease should I use, the gentleman said to read up on it.. are there special types? ...and how much grease should one use?
