Your brakes are not fine. Find a competent garage or just fix them DIY, which will involve buying a few parts and spending a Saturday afternoon in the back yard. The brakes squeal because there is something wrong with the discs, pads and, possibly, calipers. The fix is simple -- make sure the caliper is clean and operates freely, then replace the pads and/or discs, then bleed the brake. The discs are replaced if they are not smooth and shiny. Replace the hoses if the car is older than 5 years. I use EBC GreenStuff pads and they are better than the original pads. Please note, replacing the pads alone is useless -- make sure everything else is OK. The instructions and the drawings are in the manual in Links. Please ask questions if you are going to do the job DIY. I'll be happy to discuss the details.
