The Mégane II Owners' Club

hi the lad at work has a megan and its running fine but every now and again when he starts it .it sounds as if the starter is running on and not disengaging. we have removed stripped checked the starter no signs of wear on the teeth and pre engage is working and free and no signs of any other wear. so now i need to check relay. is it one of the ones soldered to the circuit board near the fuse box (front right of engine bay) or is there some more some where? or any one have any other idear as to whats up with it?
ps its 16 or 18 petrol
