Hi hoe chums long time reader first time poster, I was wondering if you guys can clarify something for me, I have had to submit my baby to arnold clark renault several times for several reasons the last time was because back passanger side door lock button didnt work , now when i got it back i noticed a whole load of damage around the outside door handle assembly. when i brought this to A clarks attention they denied all responsibilty and said it probably happened elsewhere .....but the damage wasnt mentioned on the job sheet before hand, now to cut this long story short i was told the tech didnt have to touch the outside of the car and as such actually carried out the work on the inside of the door ....your opinons would be helpfull
and just as an aside I've had several dealings for clutch slave and master cylinders all leading to replacment , RANT and each time made a complete arse of the job leading it to be re admitted :banghead but each time this garage has refused to issue written documentation on request regarding the work that has been carried out, so my question is this am i entitled to have these documents so as to keep my meganes history up to date.
All work was carried out under warranty but this has now ran out.
Oops! forgot to tell you the Megane is a 1.5 Dci 106 2006 plate.

Look at p.6 here (the full set of manuals is in our Links):
https://www.reno.ro/index.php?s=84c33e0f ... 1627461174

If the pattern of damage is consistent with the operations described in the above manual, then ring your insurer and arrange an independent inspection.
