Re: Stickies for fuel consumption
Ive got an 2003 1.9 DCI and im averaging about 37MPG, Ive only been driving around town since I reset the trip comp.
I did manage 52 MPG on a motorway trip when I first got it....
Thinking about a re-map, hmmmmm

Re: Stickies for fuel consumption
I've not reset my trip for about 3000 miles and I am getting 38.4mpg from my 1.9DCi CC. I only use BP Ultimate Diesel and I drive like a 19 year old kid so I am pretty pleased to be getting over 38.

Nice trip today, Tunbridge wells to Plymouth to 8 meetings in different places to Tonbridge and finally back to Tunbridge wells for 10 gallons (550miles).

Picked up my 2007 1.5dci sports tourer with 42,000 miles on the clock on Monday.
By the time I got back to my home in France we'd covered around 600 miles. Mainly dualcarraigeway and motorways with a good chunk of town and country driving and we were getting just over 52mpg

First tank 626.5 miles on 55.51 l diesel = 51.31 mpg, second tank 504.1 miles on 47.87 l mpg 47.87, have been driving fairly sedatley and was expecting more - last owner it was reading 54mpg but who knows when that was last reset.
Wondering if my black sooty bumper and flat spots is having a negative impact on my mpg?

Re: Stickies for fuel consumption
A holiday trip of some 4000Km (2500 miles) of mixed roads and the result is 4,4 L/100 Km (64,2 mpg). I think that Mobil 1 0w40 and changing all filters (oil, air, diesel) contributed to the result.
