The same story is with filters. Use only Purflux or Mann. Purflux is OEM, it contains more filter media, which is folded in a special way thus preventing collapsing under excessive pressure.

It's a "minimum specification" oil, which according to motaquip (see their web site) must be changed every 6000 miles. This is how the UK garages destroy engines -- use a 6k miles oil and send an unsuspecting motorist on an 18k journey. Get a proper MB229.3/MB229.5 instead. if I change my oil 6000 miles later then I will be ok. As long as the oil won't damage the engine then I'm happy
