Hi All,
I did tell my garage if they could look at the engine mounts, and they said they were ok, and that there were almost certain it was one of the coils that was failing. This is going to be replaced tomorrow (18/11/08)
I will let you know whether there is an improvement on the vibration...although, after replacing the spark plugs, and using that liquid on the petrol tank to clean the injectors, the vibration is less noticeable...but as I said...will let you know how it feels after replacing the falling/faulty coil.

Since I put this liquid to clean the injectors in the petrol tank the vibration seems to be lower, but it may be my mind playing tricks on mesince I put it with the tank being full, and still over 3/4 full... could this be the source of the problem? since the previous driver was an old lady and, I am guessing here, she would drive quite slowly over a long period of time?
Cheers
Well, I took the car from the garage yesterday. They checked the coils but the readings were ok, thus there was nothing wrong with them. They put a liquid into the petrol tank to clean the injectors (since they also checked the engine mounts and there was nothing wrong)...At the end, maybe my mind was not playing tricks on me

I dont know if it is possible to recommend garages in here??? I really like this garage. The guys are really helpful and they only do the work that needs to be done!. It is in Edinburgh by the way. I now have to move down south (to Portsmouth initially) and I was wondering whether any of you knew of a good garage down there.
Thanks all for your help and advise
PS: If I can say the name of the garage, please let me know...It will be an excellent source of information for the lucky ones living in Edinburgh
