never heard a horn fail for being too quiet, how quiet is it ?

locate the horn and replace it with one from halfords or ebay or if yr handy with relays and terminals fit a stebel nautilus, it's a compact air horn and have one on my gold wing frightens the life out of everybody, especially the sheep on the moors !!!

i dont know about the horn on megane but some horns can be tunned, there is a hole where you place a screw driver and turn it until you reach the sound you want. to find it is easy, if it stills make sound, poor sound but it produces sound, just ask some one to push the horn and go to the front of the car and find it

cheers

My horn too is very quiet, It winds me up when people cut me up and my car gives a happy beep what no one can hear! The horn is located directly behind the renault badge in the front bumper, i tried to access this by removing all of the plastic push screws under the bonnet but i failed, My next try will involve going up from under the car but i will need to remove the skid plate first. Horns can be found very cheap on ebay too.

Just take the bumper off - it's easier in the long run. 15 minute job (honestly).

Best advice for Megane owners: sell it before it bankrupts you!
