Sunroof won't open

Hi sorry, I'm new and I forgot I had opened an account on this websit, so sorry to folks with might have sent in posts re my other post for meganes not starting up. I accidently left my sunroof open last night, got soaked in the rain, discovered it this morning, managed to close sunroof, but now it won't open. I'm scared it might be the electrics, please help Thanks .

Hi

The best thing to do is to check the fuse for the sunroof and then leave the sunroof for a couple of days while the weather is sunny to dry things out. I think if you leave it a couple of days it should be okay. But check the fuse first, the water has probably cause a short and blown the fuse.

Hi thanks for the reply, my dad is going to check the fuse today, I was hoping it was gonna sort itself out as I wanted to put it for sale. Here's to hoping the fuse works. Thanks again.

Have you tried resetting it - push in the centre of the sunroof dial/button and hold for 30 seconds...
