problems with my megane

my renault megan, the message saying check injector's keeps coming on but then dissapearing and yesterday the door lights stay on even when i start the car and drive on, they did used to dim out and go off but wont anymore is there anything i can do to sort this?? i have checked every fuse but nothing!!!

you probably have dead glowplugs

the lights are on because a floor cubby hole is open

i will have to get the injection inspected properly then..

i have checked the floor cubby holes and there both shut? it happened when i come out of work and my clock/radio had been reset and then the lights wouldnt go off any suggestions ?

Bit tricky to diagnose without knowing the car model, age mileage, or engine type.

its an 04 plate 1.9 dci privalidge ? if that helps ?

In that case, Ray is on the ball as usual! Check the glow plug resistance (each should be 0.6 Ohms).

The lights are on because the cubby holes aren't closed (if the catches are broken obtain a new unit from Renault for £28). Easy to fit (3 minute job).
