Vibrating sunroof
Has anybody got a fix for a vibrating sunroom please? It rattles like mad and sounds like an old diesel taxi.
Re: Vibrating sunroof
Don't have a fix yet, but mine has developed a rattle in the rear hinge point, drivers side. When the roof is closed and the A/C is on, idle speed is approximately 900rpm which causes the rattle. If I apply upward pressure on the hinge (pushing up on the sunroof), the rattle stops. I think there is either wear or adjustment necessary to the joint.
I was planning on checking with the dealer at the next service.

I cured mine by tilting the roof, removing the rear pivot torx screw, and made two plastic washers to fit either side of the bracket, greased and refitted, works perfectly with no vibrations or rattles.

Re: Vibrating sunroof
Neil, do you want to do a 'how to' to help those of us who have this problem?
It's caused by the wear on the rubber slider that's at the torx screw. Driving me mad but I refuse to give Renault £90 for a simple little piece of rubber.
