Strange window fault

Postby ian7675 » Mon Jan 10, 2011 12:15 am

The newest fault for this wonderful piece of reliable engineering is the window. When I lower the window it goes down a couple of inches and then stops. I re press the button and it goes down a further couple of inches and so on. It's the same process for raising it again. The rear windows are the same but the passenger one is fine. What could this weeks fault be? Any help appreciated.

Electrical fault happened to me check the conection on the battery
Or turn off the engine remove the card lock the car and try it again it goes away
Moist in the fuse box in the engine bay causes this :D

Did you change the battery? Or disconnected it? You have to press the button up until the top. When it's on the top keep the UP button pressed for 5 seconds then release it. From now on the window will work fine. For the other windows just follow the same procedure.

Cheers
