Passenger Compartment Fan / Resistor Pack (Removal)

Renault 1.6 Megane, Manual Passenger Compartment Heating.

Ive had a look at the manuals, and seem to cant to get my head around how the Fan comes out, or where the resisitor pack is located.

The fault is that the fan works intermittently, sometimes not at full power in all modes of operation (1,2,3,4). I was advised to change the resistor pack, but i cant find it,and to remove the fan to ensure that its not come from its shaft.

Anyone direct me to some pictures or so.

Hi,

I have had a look at the link provided and it appears to be all in french, ive downloaded the Pdf file in the link, which shows a breakdown of the car diagram, but its again pretty much in french.

I wonder if there is anything english out there.


Ive not had chance too look at the car as im away at the minute, im back tomorrow & i wonder where i could get the replacement parts from. I know that eBay list a few items, but without actually getting the old item out, i wont actually know which one to purchase as there was more than 1 listed, both have different connectors.

Im unsure as the car has manual heating selection, and most manuals diagrams mention the heating computer etc, which isnt fitted to the car that we have as its manual.

The English manuals are in the sticky thread above the other threads in this forum. The resistor block is accessed from the passenger foot well.
