Service and airbag light?

I have the airbag and service lights on permantly after they kept coming on intermittantly before,have checked cables under seats all seems good any advice appreciated.

when turning your steering wheel does it make like a grinding sound if so sounds like your rotary switch behind the wheel has failed i had this problem and found out of a guy i know who works for renault they are common faults on the meganes
