Clutch / DMF ??

Postby pastymuncher1 » Thu Jun 24, 2010 8:41 pm

Hi just about to buy another megane after our last one was written off 3 weeks ago. We are looking at a 54 plate 1.9 dci same as we had, however the potential new car clutch pedal seems really low to the floor before it bites...my immeadiate thought was clutch is going..am i right?? :? so had quote for replacement anyway but they tell me there is no dual mass fly wheel so will be cheaper, is there no DMF on this model??
cheers chaps :hug

Don't know for sure. I thought all the diesels had them. The clutch may have air in the hydraulic line. Try bleeding it. Do you mean the bite point is high up or low down?

Best advice for Megane owners: sell it before it bankrupts you!
