Left headlight not working properly

hi im running 8k hid bulbs on my 07 megane and having a problem of the left headlight not comming on it takes 5-10 mins constent switching the lights on/off before it works any ideas why this is happening?

bulb or ballast.
take bulb from other side to rule it out. else its ballast.

try both switching balasts and bulbs but still no joy really starting to get anoyed with it now as it wont come on at all now

I suggest examining the wiring, in particular the connections. The fact that meddling with it made it worse is a clue. Check the fuses in case you shorted something. If the ballasts and bulbs have not failed simultaneously, check the earthing too.
