headlight problem!

right guys the megane 1.6 2003 decided to cause pain for me last night the diped headlights turbn on but are no where as bright basically do not even light up the front of the car if you understand
all other lights work i.e main beam it seems like the side light are on but not the dipped if any one coudl help woudl be great cheers

Do you mean to say that the dipped H7 bulbs don't light up at all, but the lamp on the dashboard does? If so, check the fuse.

yes this is the problem where abouts is the fuse located ?

I'll get back to you on that - don't have the manual to hand. Have a look on the links section where all the pdf files are located. There are likely to be many fuses, but the one that's blown is possibly in the glovebox. I suggest you take each one out 1 by 1 and inspect them.
