Hi folks. New to here and new to the Megane.
Yesterday I purchased an 07 1.5dci 106 dynamique and although I am extremely happy with my purchase, I am concerned that after giving her a couple of runs, after about 20 miles or so, the BATTERY LOW STOP warning is appearing.
My dealer just serviced and MOT'd the car yesterday and there were no signs of this warning until I drove her home.
Any ideas ?
Many thanks

Knackered battery or alternator not charging it ??
Take it back to the dealer for a diagnostics check and get them to sort it !!

Thanks for the reply Dave.
For the record, the BATTERY LOW light has not come on since Saturday now but the car is due to go back in to the dealer to get a new key programmed and a new window regulator fitted at the same time. If the warning light does not show, would you recommend that waiting til the new key arrives (about two weeks) would be okay ? I could get the diagnostics checked then.
Thanks

Whitts,
as a minimum let the dealer know you are having problems - then in future you could say you had told him of an intermitent fault at an early stage - just avoids him saying he was never told/out of the warranty period etc

Re: new megane owner needs help
Battery low warning is not for the keycard is it?
I had a knackered "car" battery once and got no warning.

Re: new megane owner needs help
Thanks for all advice guys. The car is going in this weekend to sort outstanding work and the low battery issue. Dealer had no problem taking it and giving me a courtesy car in is place.
nickbell- its definately the car battery icon that is being highlighted.
Should be back with me by Monday evening as I have a weekend in Inverness next Saturday/Sunday so it will get its first "whitts" run up the A9.
