check airbag warning message

Hi

I've had my 2007 sports tourer six days now

I adjusted the seat height and steering wheel position this evening and when I switched on the engine a "Check Airbag" warning message flashed up on the 'puter screen.

Any suggestions as to the cause? or cure?

It's just my luck, the Renault 3 year warrenty runs out tomorrow

There are a lot of similar posts to this one. Mostly, the wiring under the seat is disturbed by repositioning.
