which headlights

I've recently bought a 2006 (56) plate megane dynamique. unfortuantly i had a bit of an accident and require 2 headlights. I'm hearing there are 2 different types. some from 03-06 and others for 06 onwards. I was hoping to get some new lights this weekend from a 2004 car and was wondering if anyone could please help. Not really sure about auto lights and all that either, there is probably more than 2.

If you got the bumper on the car, the grills in the centre will be flat topped for a 03-06 car. On the facelift models, the centre grills tapered downwards to the Renault badge

Old ( 03-06 car)



New (06 onwards car, which i suspect, yours will be)



The lights from an 04 wont fit properly without large gaps around the bumper if you got new style.
