remote...not working properly!

on the display it tells me 2 replace battery iv changed my battery in the remote a few times!
some reason this morning i put the remote in as usual and it came up card not detected!
i fort the battery had gone completely dead! so i gt a brand new battery and it did the same thing so i switched remote afta pressing button about 10 times it reconises the remote and starts this is the same with both remotes any1 no why this is?

interference.. your mobile phone nearby? or maybe it was just the cold...
