Air Con Issues

Hello all!

I have a problem with my air con... when I press the dash button the light comes on, but the compressor doesn't engage. A friend of mine checked the pressure and it's at 5 bar (or something like that) ...and he seemed to think that was fine.

I have read on here that it can be a switch that's on the car, the pressure unit or something that can gunge up.... does anyone have a part number for that, or know where it is ?

Also... is it likely to be the fuse... and does anyone know where that is? I presume it's in the engine compartment?

i have the exact same problem. phone renault and see if your car is on the recall list, common faults are the pressure switch, its a bumper off job

There's an aircon recall? That's interesting!

Do I just call a dealer?
