Megane Won't Start When Using The Clutch

Hi Everyone,

I've had my Megane for about 4 months now and have just replaced the radio with a Sony MEX-BT2500 yesterday.

I drove to college this morning and just pressed the clutch down and pressed start as normal and off i drove as usual. not 10 mins after i'd got to college i went to move it and it wouldn't start whilst pressing the clutch pedal. So, after several failed attemps, including me getting out and locking it and getting back in again, i put it in neutral and pressed the brake and pressed start and it worked fine. it has continued like this all day. Any ideas why it isnt starting when i use the clutch and Start? Is it anything to do with me fitting the radio?

My car is a 2005 Megane 1.4 16v Rush - Without the keyless entry.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Seems to be fairly common and simple to fix, just a switch/cable fault.

Very common wiring fault near your feet. Just push all the connectors together and strap the wiring to something secure. Mines been at it for years - always use the brake pedal now, nothing to worry about.
