Spray the sliders on the floor from the front and back with some WD40 or penetrating spray.

Re: Jamed Front Seat
I've done that and can't see anything jamming it either. One side seems to want to move but the other is totally jammed

See the drawings in p.72 here:

It might be possible to reach for the mechanism by sticking your arm under the seat.

Re: Jamed Front Seat
Thanks for the link. It all looks too technical for me (and can't read French) so it looks like a trip to the garage to get it sorted unless anyone has any other ideas.

Re: Jamed Front Seat
I was pointing at the drawings (the text does not say much about your problem anyway) -- open the file and type the page number in the corresponfding field above the page.
The drawings will show a bar going across and two locks on the sliders. The bar is driven by a cable, but it does not matter, as at least one side works. I suggest to put your arm under the seat, locate the lock on the "ill" side and try to release it. Spray it again, if necessary.
Otherwise, it is a trip to the garage, I am afraid... Good luck.

Re: Jamed Front Seat
Thank you once again. I will try that in the daylight and hopefully avoid a trip to the garage. Thanks again.

Re: Jamed Front Seat
Bolt the seat out....4 Screws....unclub the plug....then have a good look at it. Its probably something very simple!

Re: Jamed Front Seat
It looks like something electrical under the passenger seat and not sure what it is or if i should mess about with it. Perhaps you can shed some light on it.

Re: Jamed Front Seat
In the CC there is an airbag there plus the usual pre-tensioners. You are right, don't mess with them unless you know what you are doing.

Re: Jamed Front Seat
Thank you, luckily i'm slim and quite flexible but still not slim enough to get in the back behind it as it's pushed right back. I think i'll leave it to the experts.

Re: Jamed Front Seat
Slim, flexible, drives a CC, "on-my-own"...
You are right, if the seat is still seized after applying lubrication and shaking it vigorously, then a more serious approach may be needed. Leave it to someone who can undo a couple of bolts and inspect the mechanism. It is not a common problem, so it is hard to guess what caused it.
