Hi All, I run a 07 GT, for the last 4-5 months have, expirenced a vibration type of sensation through the steering wheel, and foot pedals, I start to expirence these vibrations from about 55 and upwards but are at their worse at about 70 to 75 then becomes less noticable as speed increases. Also the car it's self seems to resinate as well. This is worse on very smooth tarmac. The only way to describe the sensation is as if you are driving over small ridges in the road. All wheels have been rebalanced just incase it was a balance proplem but it made little or no diffrence to the car The car has been to the dealer all they say is that there doesnt seem to be any mechanical fault that would cause what I describe, the only thing that they have suggested is that their is uneven wear in the tyres. Have taken it to A.T.S and to Kwik Fit all they have said is that the only way out of this is to change all 4 tyres. I,m reluctant at the moment to go down this route. Just hope that someone here might shed some light on what might be causing this or might have had a similar expirence.
The car has 21k on the clock and it's original tyres Michelin 205

Re: vibration
Could be a drive shaft?
My partner had a BMW 5 series that did this from new and it was the tyres going out of round when the car was parked, the vibration got less the longer the journey. Try checking tyre pressures and pumping up to at least the recommended pressure. It could still be wheel balance as I have found very few places that can actualy balance wheels correctly. The best way is take it to a tyre place that has a hunter machine that can match the tyre to the rim but if the car has only started doing it try the simple things first like balance and tyre pressures and make sure the wheel nuts are torqued up evenly to the correct setting.

Thanks guy's, like you I,m not convinced it's the tyre's, as I never expirenced anything like this before, will deffo get the wheels balanced. As for the dealer well its Slaters of Abergel, just feel as if they dont understand what I'm trying to explain or that they not intrested. But will try again this week with them
