I have a 2005 Megane Grand Scenic 1.9DCI. I bought this in May 2007 and have had no major probs apart from a faulty window regulator. However, I have had a Check Emissions message flash up on the dash on two occasions since I bought it. The car has continued to run fine and on both occasions the message has disapeared after a day. Does anyone know what may have caused this display message and, despite the message disapearing and the car running well, whether there could be an underlying problem somewhere.

possibly your catalitc converter or the sensor in or after the cat could have an intermitant fault???????
